Today April 24 is World Day for Laboratory Animals. It is a day to sound the alarm about abuse which is kept hidden from the public eye in all laboratories in Spain, where millions are abused systematically animals.

Delete these experiments does not mean leaving the city deserted, because today there are alternative procedures such as epidemiological studies, in vitro techniques in crop plant and animal tissues, remains of placenta, eggs, cell culture, organ culture, and so on. Scientists increasingly recognize that research with non-animal techniques are obtained relevant data specific and successful.
Many countries have passed laws banning animal testing, it is the case of Italy, India, Israel and Argentina, among others. As individuals we can reject any product that has conducted such experiments, but the English Government has to halt the barbaric practice of vivisection, failing to support the laboratories where animals are tortured.
